Halloween Display by jimathers Halloween Display by jimathers
Put together a mini Halloween display in my house. Careful lighting can make cheap crap look good. I got most of the stuff on sale a few years ago after Halloween or in a thrift shop, so the whole display was probably around 30 dollars or something. (I'm on an indie artist income here!) Frankly, I'd have 5 foot tall animatronic zombie dogs if I could afford them. Oh well.

Who puts up their Halloween stuff this early? Is it an American thing to do that? In the UK we only have them up for a few days. Mum won't let me start decorating, even though our stuff has arrived in the post now. :3
Getting new stuff from ASDA cheap and early because we so baus and having a party for the first time in ages. Hells yeah.

Also, I love that little house you have. Reminds me I ought to finish my Bates Mansion model... it'd make a great decoration if I can ward off drunken paws.

That looks amazing!!

I really wish Halloween was properly celebrated here; then I'd be able to make up awesome and spooky things like this!!

Do it anyway. In the middle of spring. For the sake of horror. Yeah!!!

I may as well, it'd be pretty funny!

I did dress up last year and walk around...there was a group of little girls dressed up as fairy princesses and suchlike, and then they came across me (in a skeleton costume), gave me this terrified look and ran away :XD:
It looks awesome! Do many other people in average neighborhoods do that kind of stuff for halloween? I think not!
The only other thing I've seen like this done by average people was when this family with a 2-part garage turned it into a mini haunted house and we had to go through it before getting candy.
Unfortunately they stopped doing it a few years ago.
